How can I take a tour if I'm not here at Christmas or in the Spring?

Visit the Decatur Convention and Visitors' Bureau at 719 Sixth Avenue, SE (map), where you can pick up a self-guided Walking Tour guide of both Albany and Decatur's other historic neighborhood, Old Decatur.

Tour the Neighborhood

Albany participates in two annual tours of Decatur's historic neighborhoods: the Christmas Tour of Homes and the Spring Garden Tour.

Christmas Tour of Homes

Every November, residents of Albany and Old Decatur open their doors to share this living link with history with the community. This year, the tour will take place on December 8th, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Westminster Presbyterian Church will be hosting cider and cookies.

Spring Garden Tour

Gardens, gardens, gardens! While the Christmas Tour of Homes displays the architecture of our houses, the Spring Garden Tour focuses on the lush green spaces around them.

Calendar of Events

The tours aren't the only thing going on in Albany. Neighbors get together every month, and there are seasonal activities throughout the year.
